The 55th Meeting of the ASEAN Working Group on Intellectual Property Cooperation was held in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam from 26 to 28 March 2018. The meeting was chaired by Dr Freddy Harris, Director-General, Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP), Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Indonesia. YM Pengiran Jamra Weira bin Pengiran Haji Petra, Acting Permanent Secretary (Energy and Industry), Prime Minister's Office delivered the welcome remarks at the opening ceremony.

The meeting continued discussions on the ASEAN IPR Action Plan 2016 -2025 and also had meetings with dialogue partners - the Japan Patent Office and Korean Intellectual Property Office.
